0.0.49beta · Release notes

See what changed with each update. Historical notes retain their original source, including versions whose installers have been removed.

This version focuses public-site/README claims on long-horizon work and evolution and combines user-visible changes since 0.0.48beta.

Added

  • Added three landing sections: Where long-horizon work breaks (unfinished work, unverifiable results and unchanging workflows, each tied to an actual mechanism); Compose Expert Squads (from research to a submission-ready paper, six squads/33 named roles and three integrated compositions); and Squads that revise themselves (feedback and measured-campaign paths, with installation requiring your confirmation).
  • Added bilingual concepts/long-horizon, concepts/squad-composition and expert-squads/evolution docs.
  • Bilingual READMEs adopt the same positioning and three sections.
  • Squad/role counts are derived at build time from the published catalog in squad-compositions.generated.ts instead of copied counts in prose.

Changed

  • Landing/README positioning changed from an out-of-the-box multi-agent Harness to a Harness for long-horizon work.
  • Corrected built-in tool counts to the Registry’s 43, previously shown as 42 in several README passages.

Fixed

  • Fixed pinned Work Ledger rows losing their Project.
  • Fixed release tags using the branch head at dispatch instead of the actual built commit.
  • Fixed Missions missing completed-child messages because two decoding schemas required fields stored separately in SQL columns and could never match.
  • Fixed repeated agent entries across interfaces: multiple executions of one Session become one record, and lookup returns the current rather than oldest execution.
  • Fixed retries retaining two-minute leases after recording a 500-millisecond retry; leases can expire earlier.
  • Fixed macOS window controls misaligned with the titlebar.
  • artifact_publish JSON errors show line, column and a source excerpt instead of byte offsets, which differ by a factor of three for CJK text.

Removed

  • Removed the unreferenced landing-copy module packages/web/src/content/landing.ts.

Performance

  • Overlay no longer rederives the entire conversation for every streamed fragment.
  • Startup bundle size fell from 2.89 MB to 1.70 MB by loading seven artifact renderers and the code editor on demand.
